Sean Raggett header deepens Swindon home struggles

Swindon's miserable home form continued as a late Sean Raggett goal earned in-form Lincoln a 1-0 win at the County Ground.

Raggett nodded in Jordan Maguire-Drew's corner seven minutes from time to extend the Imps' unbeaten run to seven matches.

Swindon have now taken only seven points out of a possible 21 in front of their own supporters.

The first half was a dour affair with Billy Knott's header cleared off the line by Swindon defender Matt Taylor the only chance of note.

Nathan Arnold came close to giving Lincoln the lead midway through the second half but was denied by a post before Ben Purkiss hacked the rebound off the line.

Taylor put a free kick over the Lincoln crossbar 14 minutes from time before Raggett struck.

Maguire-Drew threatened to double Lincoln's tally with two minutes remaining when he cut in from the right before flashing a show narrowly wide.

The victory moves Lincoln above Swindon in the League Two table and to within a point of the play-offs.
