SUSPENDED Chelsea ace David Luiz may have tried to convince Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang to join Antonio Conte's side.

The Brazilian met up with Borussia Dortmund's star striker after Aubameyang cast serious doubt over his future.

The 29-year-old speed merchant confirmed to Telefoot that it could be his last season at the Bundesliga club.

He said: "I am happy to have stayed here.

"However, I don't know what will happen at the end of the season."

Luiz and Aubameyang looked in high spirits after dining at Cesar restaurant in Paris.

The Dortmund hitman shared an image of the pair on Instagram alongside the caption: "I'm always like a kid when I see a big player like you my friend."

Aubameyang has started the season in typical fashion scoring 13 times in 11 matches.

Chelsea were linked with a £70million move for the Gabon international over the summer.

But it appears any Premier League club hopeful of landing the striker are facing an uphill battle.

After being asked about a potential move to Man City he said: "Manchester City? In fact, I've never been attracted to Premier League. This is a personal opinion.

"I thought about China, which seems, but it still lacks professionalism, unfortunately."
