The 36-year-old, who plies his trade in Ligue 1 with Marseille, captioned the video:
"Just enjoying my Monday in #marseille 😁 The sad part of my journey it's i [sic] found more than 12 homeless people in less than 30 minutes 😔😔.
"What have you done today ..? Did you help somebody? Or did you just complaining and blaming someone else ..? I just feel blessed thanks god 🙏🏼 happy Monday"
The former France international's goodwill gesture is the latest in a string of charitable acts.
Evra was often seen working closely with the Manchester United foundation during his eight-year spell with the club.
And the defender impressed on his return to Old Trafford in June with a classy display during Michael Carrick's testimonial.
Evra revealed that he had no plans to hang up his boots after the game, because "I still have 24 brothers and sisters to feed."
Evra, 36, insists that he is not ready quite yet to call time on his playing career
