Dunfermline lost top spot in the Ladbrokes Championship as they blew a 2-0 lead to lose 3-2 at Morton.
Joe Cardle had fired the visitors in front in the ninth minute with a left-footed shot across goal and they doubled their lead from the penalty spot just after the half-hour mark.
Ross Forbes fouled Jason Talbot in the area and Kallum Higginbotham made no mistake from the spot.
But Morton got themselves back in the game just two minutes into the second half when Robert Thomson found the net and Gary Harkins levelled it with a free-kick in the 73rd minute.
Jai Quitongo then snatched a winner in the third minute of stoppage time to give Morton the win.
