After a hugely successful season for Zinedine Zidane and his Real Madrid side, performances by so-called fringe players have seen the club's stock rise.
The French technician wished to transmit the idea that every individual is important and it rang true last season as Nacho Fernandez, Marco Asensio, Mateo Kovacic, Isco, Lucas Vazquez and Mariano Diaz have all seen their market values rise, according Transfermarkt.
"Everyone is important and I want them to feel that they are," said the coach.
One player in particular who has benefited and flourished under the Frenchman's supervision, is Nacho, as the player's valuation has risen by 10 million euros.
The 27-year-old, who graduated through Real Madrid's Castilla, was initially valued at around 5m euros but after a proper breakthrough season with increased minutes at the Estadio Santiago Bernabeu, the defender is now valued at 15m euros.
Another substitute making headlines is Asensio as the former RCD Mallorca man, who was a revelation last season, is now being considered as a future Ballon d'Or winner and has seen his value risen from 12m euros to 20m euros.
Kovacic, Isco and Vasquez are three more starlets who have seen most of their playing time arrive from the bench.
Isco is now reportedly worth 40m euros as Kovacic's stock rises to 25m euros, with Vazquez now priced at 15m euros.
Finally, Mariano, who only featured in 302 minutes for Los Blancos, scoring five goals and assisting twice, increased his value from 2m euros to 5m euros.
By taking into account all six substitute's market increases, the club's overall market worth has improved from 764.3m to 783.3m thanks to inspiring performances from Zidane's extraordinary subs.
