Barcelona have revealed that they will name Luis Enrique's successor as manager on Monday 29th May.
Enrique announced earlier this year that he would be stepping down as Barcelona's manager leading to intense speculation about who would take charge of the La Liga giants.
A host of names have been linked with the Nou Camp position but the club have now confirmed that fans will not have to wait long for the
name of their next manager with an announcement set for next Monday.
The confirmation of the club's new boss will come on Monday 29th May, just two days after Enrique has taken Barcelona into the Copa del Rey final against Alaves.
Club president Josep Maria Bartomeu told the Barcelona official Twitter account: "On Monday 29 May we will announce the new coach."
Enrique leaves the role after three years, having taken charge in 2014. The 47-year-old could leave with nine trophies from his time as Barcelona coach with a win next weekend.
Spanish publication El Correo, per the Mirror, are indicating that Atletic Bilbao's Ernesto Valverde has agreed a deal to take over at Barcelona.
