Celta Vigo vs Real Madrid - Zidane demands players focus on Celta Vigo match

Real Madrid coach Zinedine Zidane has demanded complete focus from his players as they chase down the LaLiga title and is not even thinking about possible Champions League glory.

Los Blancos head to Celta Vigo on Wednesday night locked level on points with Barcelona at the top of the table.

However, crucially Zidane's side hold a match in hand, which leaves little margin for error at Balaidos if they are to beat their fierce rivals to the title on the final round of LaLiga fixtures which will see Real travel to Malaga on Sunday.

Despite also having the upcoming defence of their European crown against Juventus in Cardiff on June 3, Zidane remains determined to take things very much one objective at a time.

"We don't feel like champions. We are not going to relax. We have not won anything," Zidane said at a press conference.

"We have got two more finals to play in the league then it is over. Physically we are all in very good shape and looking forward to tomorrow's match.

"I am only thinking positively and about everyone giving 100% of what we have got."

Even though there is so much riding on his team producing the required result against Celta Vigo, Zidane will not let that impact on their approach.

"Celta will give everything and it will be hard, but we will not change what we have been doing," the Frenchman said.

"What interests me the most is what we are going to do and we are going to try to play really well in the two remaining games."

Celta Vigo sit in 13th place, and have not won since mid-April, losing six out of the last seven which also saw an exit from the Europa League semi-final against Manchester United.

Zidane, though, is not expecting an easy ride.

"We know that Celta are a good opponent and it will be difficult, just like it was against Sevilla and will be against Malaga," he said.

"I am expecting the same Celta as always - they have got a very good team and will play their game.

"Celta are a professional team and will go out to win, nothing less".

Zidane confirmed talisman Cristiano Ronaldo would be included in the squad, having opted to rest the Portugal forward in recent away games.

The Real Madrid coach, though, played down suggestions James Rodriguez's absence from training was because of the Colombian being reportedly set for a B£64million summer switch to Manchester United.

"It is not up for debate. He (Rodriguez) is with us, although today he has not trained because he received a heavy blow (to his foot)," Zidane said.

"We are only thinking about the three final (matches) that we have got coming up."

Although Celta have been in a terrible run of form, coach Eduardo Berizzo sees the chance for redemption in Wednesday night's high-profile fixture, which had been postponed from February's original date after safety concerns at the Balaidos stadium caused by bad weather.

"The game is of a huge importance, not only for the rival that we are going to face, but also for our own moment," Berizzo said at a press conference.

"Our reality (in LaLiga) is not good and must change.

"We are demanding a great performance to pay back our fans in the stands.

"We must play very well and like we did in our (victorious) Copa del Rey tie to be able to overcome them."
