Arsenal and Valencia are interested in signing Carlos Bacca, with the striker likely to be put up for sale by AC Milan this summer.
Bacca has lost his place in the Milan starting line-up and could well be allowed to leave, as reported by Football Italia.
The Colombian came close to joining West Ham United last summer when the Hammers agreed a €30 million deal, but the move ultimately failed to materialise.
Bacca has produced some encouraging displays for Milan this season and has scored 13 goals in 28 Serie A appearances, although that may not be sufficient to earn him an extended stay at the club, especially with Gianluca Lapadula having been selected ahead of him in some games.
Is Bacca better than Giroud?
Arsenal certainly need to bolster their attacking options, with neither Olivier Giroud or Danny Welbeck capable of performing consistently, while Valencia are also on the lookout for a new striker.
However, both teams may well decide to pursue another option than Bacca. The 30-year-old has, after all, scored fewer goals per game in the league this season than Giroud.
