Scunthorpe United vs Chesterfield - Alexander could stick with unchanged line-up when Scunthorpe battle Chesterfield

Scunthorpe manager Graham Alexander could name an unchanged line-up as they aim to keep their play-off ambitions on track with victory over Chesterfield.

If Alexander does decide to rotate, left-back Harry Toffolo could return after being an unused substitute against MK Dons, having previously been absent with a thigh strain.

Jordan Clarke has missed the last two matches due to personal reasons and is still a doubt to be available while Sam Mantom is vying for a starting place after a cameo appearance against the Dons.

Kevin van Veen is expected to remain on the bench as Ivan Toney and Paddy Madden lead the line but midfielder Matt Crooks is definitely out with an ankle injury.

Chesterfield will be without Dion Donohue for a game which could confirm the club's relegation to Sky Bet League Two.

Utility-man Donohue was shown a straight red card for a late challenge on Southend's Jason Demetriou in Friday's 4-0 drubbing.

Boss Gary Caldwell felt Shrimpers counterpart Phil Brown played a part in Donohue's dismissal, which happened in front of the opposing manager's dugout, and added: "Dion gets hit by a bad tackle, nothing happens and he gets a straight red for a similar tackle."

David Faupala is available after a three-game suspension to boost the Spireites, while Caldwell confirmed after the Southend match that Sadiq El Fitouri's recent absence will be dealt with internally by the club.
