Manchester United boss Jose Mourinho has reportedly contacted Arsenal star Alexis Sanchez over a potential deal.

Sanchez's future at Arsenal is uncertain with the attacker yet to agree a new deal.

He won't be short of options in the summer and according to Chile radio show El Show de Prensafutbol, Mourinho has approached Sanchez.

The report suggests Pep Guardiola has also been in contact with him in a bid to persuade the 28-year-old to join Manchester City.

Chelsea youngster Mason Mount has signed a new long-term deal with the club.

Mount has impressed for Jody Morris' side in the youth ranks this season, helping the Blues into another FA Youth Cup final.

And he has now been rewarded with a new deal that keeps him at Chelsea until 2021.

Jamie Carragher reckons Daniel Sturridge should leave Liverpool.

The England international has struggled to maintain a starting spot under Jurgen Klopp this season and former Red Carragher believes he should seek a new challenge in the summer with Tottenham his suggestion.

"I don't think Daniel Sturridge has ever been a Jurgen Klopp-type of player,” Carragher told Newsweek.

"When everyone has been fit he's never really played. He's got injury problems which is an issue but I'll probably be surprised if he's there next season.

"It might be better for everyone if he moves on and tries to rejuvenate his career because he had a brilliant start to his Liverpool career - him and [Luis] Suarez were devastating.

"But it just seems to have tailed off now.

"If you’re going to play week in week out, it may have to be a level down.

"But he certainly has the quality to play for [a club like] Tottenham, there’s no doubt about that.

"It’s whether he’s got the injury record and then you’ve got [Dele] Alli and [Harry] Kane, which isn’t a bad front two.”
