Bolton Wanderers vs Chesterfield - Bolton set to make injury-enforced changes for Chesterfield clash

Bolton may be forced into three changes for the Sky Bet League One visit of Chesterfield.

Goalkeeper Ben Alnwick (knee) and Andrew Taylor (calf) are definitely out having had to come off against Shrewsbury last weekend, while Gary Madine, who was also substituted with a thigh injury, is a major doubt.

Mark Howard will replace Alnwick between the posts, Reece Wabara or Dean Moxey are the most likely alternatives to Taylor, and Chris Long could start in attack should Madine miss out.

Jay Spearing (calf) was only an unused substitute in Shropshire while Mark Davies (knee) will not feature again this term.

Chesterfield will be without the suspended David Faupala.

The on-loan Manchester City forward begins a three-match ban after his red card in the home defeat to Rochdale.

Blues boss Gary Caldwell, whose team are 10 points from safety and in desperate need of a win, will check the fitness of Ched Evans. The forward has been out since the start of March with an ankle injury.

Ian Evatt's knee injury does not appear as bad as initially feared but the centre-half will remain on the sidelines for the foreseeable future.
