Blackpool vs Stevenage Borough - Colin Daniel expected to return for Blackpool against Stevenage

Colin Daniel is expected to be back in the Blackpool squad against Stevenage.

The midfielder was absent for the 0-0 draw with Wycombe, when a 10th yellow card of the season for Daniel before Sunday's amnesty would have seen him suspended for two games.

Goalkeeper Sam Slocombe (thigh) could be back in the Seasiders' fold having returned to training last week.

Kyle Vassell (broken foot) and Jim McAlister (broken leg) remain missing.

Stevenage boss Darren Sarll welcomes back goalkeeper Jamie Jones for the trip to Bloomfield Road.

Jones served the last game of his three-match ban following his sending off against Crewe during the 2-0 win at Luton on Saturday and is in line to replace 41-year-old Chris Day in goal.

Forward Josh McQuoid is also available after being ineligible against his parent club at the weekend, while defender Ronnie Henry played more than an hour on Saturday after overcoming a knock.

The Boro have won eight of their last nine league games to put themselves in the promotion picture.
