Wycombe Wanderers vs Blackpool - Wycombe hope for double injury boost ahead of Blackpool clash

Wycombe are hoping to welcome back a couple of players for Saturday's League Two clash with Blackpool.

Wanderers were without six first-team regulars for last weekend's win over Grimsby, with Dominic Gape, Aaron Pierre, Anthony Stewart, Paul Hayes, Sam Saunders and Scott Kashket all sidelined.

Striker Hayes and defender Pierre were thought to be closest to a comeback prior to the Mariners match, which ended a seven-game winless run.

Paris Cowan-Hall was left out of the starting line-up at Blundell Park but will hope for a recall after netting the winner.

Blackpool's travelling party could be boosted by Sam Slocombe and Neil Danns' involvement.

Goalkeeper Slocombe (thigh) and midfielder Danns (hamstring) have returned to training and boss Gary Bowyer will make calls on their availability.

The duo could leave an absentee list that includes Kyle Vassell and Jim McAlister.

The former has broken his foot while defender McAlister is recovering from a broken leg.
