Exeter City vs Crewe Alexandra - Exeter striker Ollie Watkins eyeing start for Crewe clash

Striker Ollie Watkins is set to return for Exeter's Sky Bet League Two home clash with Crewe.

Watkins was surprisingly dropped to the bench for the 4-2 midweek victory over Wycombe following much speculation over his future during the January transfer window.

But Watkins came on in the second half to confirm Exeter's sixth straight win with his seventh goal in eight games.

Ryan Harley will be assessed after missing the Wycombe win with a knock sustained at Portsmouth last weekend.

Crewe could hand debuts to Jonathon Margetts and Callum Cooke.

Striker Margetts joined from Scunthorpe and midfielder has signed from Middlesbrough until the end of the season.

Callum Ainley (ankle) is a doubt and Billy Bingham and Callum Saunders (both hamstring) remain on the sidelines.

Boss David Artell is looking for his first win as manager after replacing Steve Davis last month.
