Messi doesn't care about penalties

Neymar opened the scoring for Barcelona in their Copa del Rey first leg against Real Sociedad from the penalty spot, despite Lionel Messi being present on the field of play.
After scoring a penalty against Athletic Club last Wednesday, Neymar struck again to make it two, with Geronimo Rulli being sent the wrong way as Gorka Iraizoz had eight days earlier.
Despite Messi being the top goalscorer in the world in 2016, the Argentine has shared his opportunities, and in this case is happy to help a teammate who is struggling with a poor season in terms of goals.
Although it is becoming more common lately, this tendency from Messi is nothing new.
In the last two seasons, he has chosen to leave 15 penalties to other players, with Neymar and Suarez being the main beneficiaries of his 'generosity'.
