Grimsby Town vs Exeter City - Bignot hoping to have a full squad available

Grimsby boss Marcus Bignot hopes for a clean bill of health as his side chase their third consecutive win against Exeter.

Midfielder Sean McAllister is set for his long-awaited return from a groin injury after successfully coming through a midweek reserve game.

And Scottish defender Gavin Gunning is pushing to make his Mariners debut after meeting up with the squad following his move from Morton.

But Bignot will be without Brandon Comley who has come to the end of his loan spell from QPR, and has not made any new additions to his squad this week.

Exeter are feeling the benefits of a 12-day break between fixtures for the long trip north.

The Grecians did not have a game last weekend because of Wycombe's involvement in the FA Cup, and Exeter boss Paul Tisdale has almost a full-strength squad to choose from.

Luke Croll, Pierce Sweeney, Troy Archibald-Henville and Tom McCready all came through the midweek reserve team game against Portsmouth unscathed after recent injuries.

Matt Oakley and Joel Grant are also in contention again after missing the 4-0 victory over Leyton Orient, with Lee Holmes looking the only likely absentee following his ankle operation.
