Ipswich vs Bristol City - Jonas Knudsen a doubt for Ipswich
Posted Friday, December 30, 2016 by PA
Ipswich left-back Jonas Knudsen is doubtful for the Sky Bet Championship clash against Bristol City after suffering a cut foot.
Myles Kenlock is ready to step into the defence again if needed. Forward Luke Varney could come back into contention having not been included in the squad for the 2-0 home defeat by Fulham on Boxing Day.
On-loan Crystal Palace midfielder Jonny Williams is sidelined following a shoulder problem which needed surgery.
Defenders Tommy Smith (back) and Paul Digby (knee) continue their rehabilitation, along with midfielders Teddy Bishop (ankle), Giles Coke and Luke Hyam (both knee).
Wales defender Adam Matthews is a major doubt for Bristol City.
Matthews suffered pain in his calf and hamstring area during the 3-2 Boxing Day defeat at Wolves and had to be substituted.
Mark Little will deputise if Matthews fails to make it as the Robins seek to end a run of four straight defeats.
Gary O'Neil definitely misses out at Portman Road with a calf strain.
