Millwall vs Gillingham - Millwall's Steve Morison struggling with flu for Gillingham clash
Posted Thursday, December 29, 2016 by PA
Millwall striker Steve Morison is among a handful of squad members to have struggled with flu over the Christmas period.
Morison started the 2-0 victory over Swindon on Boxing Day having only recently returned from injury, but he is now a doubt because of illness.
Millwall boss Neil Harris has no fresh injury concerns at this stage and will hope for more of the same against Gillingham.
Sid Nelson and Joe Martin failed to make the squads for the games against Charlton and Swindon and could be brought back in by Harris.
Gills boss Justin Edinburgh has no new injury concerns following the 1-1 draw against Peterborough on Boxing Day, where his side netted a stoppage-time equaliser through on loan Bournemouth defender Baily Cargill.
Midfielder Scott Wagstaff was pushed into a more advanced role against Posh, with Ryan Jackson returning to right-back. Forward Frank Nouble came off the bench for the closing stages at the ABAX Stadium, so could be in contention for a recall.
Billy Knott and Chris Herd could be involved in the squad again as they continue their return from injury problems while defender Aaron Morris (knee) and midfielder Lee Martin (ankle) are long-term absentees.
