Norwich City vs Brentford - Martin Olsson and Graham Dorrans back to boost Norwich
Posted Friday, December 02, 2016 by PA
Norwich will have full-back Martin Olsson and midfielder Graham Dorrans available again following suspension for the visit of Brentford.
Following a run of five successive Sky Bet Championship defeats, under-pressure manager Alex Neil could again make changes to his starting XI against the Bees.
John Ruddy is expected to continue in goal, while Kyle Lafferty and Nelson Oliveira are options up front with Alex Pritchard also pressing for a start in midfield having come off the bench for the loss at Derby.
Midfielder Louis Thompson could also be back in contention after working on his match fitness, while right-back Ivo Pinto continues to be assessed on a groin problem. Jonny Howson (ankle) and winger Matt Jarvis (knee) remain out.
Alan McCormack is back in contention for Brentford after completing a five-match ban.
Fellow midfielder Sam Saunders could also return to the squad having resumed training after missing the last three matches with a calf injury.
Callum Elder is back in training after his calf problem but the match will come too soon for him.
Lewis Macleod (knee), Rico Henry (shoulder) and Alan Judge (broken leg) are still sidelined.
