Carlisle vs Mansfield Town - Mike Jones could be fit to play for Carlisle at Mansfield

Mike Jones is expected to be fit for Carlisle when they face Mansfield in Saturday's League Two clash.

Jones was forced off late on in Tuesday's draw with Grimsby after suffering a facial injury but should have recovered in time.

Winger Jamie Devitt serves the second of his two-game game following his red card against Exeter last weekend.

Boss Keith Curle, meanwhile, has told on-loan defender Macaulay Gillesphey he must bide his time after losing his place to Shaun Brisley.

Mansfield hope captain Lee Collins (knee) will return from injury to help ease their defensive problems.

Stags boss Steve Evans has George Taft, Kyle Howkins and Corbin Shires all sidelined with knocks while Alex Iacovitti is suspended, so he will check on the fitness of Collins before the squad travels.

Danny Rose did his claims for a recall no harm by climbing off the bench in midweek to score the winning goal against Blackpool.

Jack Thomas is another hoping to force his way back into the team but Evans is unlikely to make many changes as he looks to maintain his 100 per cent record as Mansfield manager with a third straight win.
