Northampton Town vs Peterborough United - Northampton hopeful Jak McCourt will return for visit of Peterborough
Posted Friday, November 18, 2016 by PA
Northampton are hopeful that Jak McCourt will return as the Cobblers prepare to host Peterborough at Sixfields.
The midfielder missed Northampton's defeat at Gillingham last week with a neck injury but McCourt will be assessed before the Sky Bet League One game.
Forward JJ Hooper is a doubt after injuring a thigh muscle at Priestfield last weekend.
But defender Gabriel Zakuani is available for selection after returning from international duty with DR Congo.
Peterborough manager Grant McCann is expected to name an unchanged side as they travel to their local rivals.
Posh beat Bolton 1-0 last weekend and have no fresh injury or suspension concerns.
Brad Inman played 70 minutes for the under-23 side this week and is still "slightly tender" so is not expected to feature for the first team.
Jermaine Anderson remains sidelined with an anterior cruciate ligament injury.
