CASTING: Meghan Markle could be set to play Rebekah Vardy on the big screen
Film bosses behind the planned rags-to-riches biopic reckon actress Meghan Markle is ideal for Rebekah.
The two women have a similar look and the star of US TV comedy Suits is, at 35, just a year older than the Leicester ace’s missus.
Directors in the frame to handle the action include Danny Boyle, Paul Greengrass and Guy Ritchie.
One Direction’s Louis Tomlinson, 24, has been a long-time favourite to play Vardy. But we can reveal Skins star Jack O’Connell, 26, is also being considered.
Vardy, 29, began his playing career at non-league minnows Stocksbridge Park Steels.
He also played for Halifax Town and Fleetwood Town before joining Leicester for £1million in 2012.

His goals led them to the Premier League title last season.
He and his wife, who is expecting their second child, recently travelled to Hollywood to talk to screenwriter Paul Tamsay, whose credits include 2010’s The Fighter, and Brit producer Adrian Butchart who worked on the Goal! series.

A spokesman for Meghan declined to comment last night.
The Los Angeles-born divorcee has just returned to the US after a two-day mini-break to London to see 32-year-old Harry.
