Werder Bremen 1 - 3 SC Freiburg: Freiburg win at Weserstadion to condemn Werder Bremen to second straight loss

Werder Bremen coach Alexander Nouri lost his unbeaten home record on Saturday as Freiburg ran out 3-1 winners at the Weserstadion.
Maximilian Philipp gave Freiburg the lead just shy of the half-hour mark when he dribbled through the Bremen defence before unleashing an unstoppable shot into the bottom corner from the edge of the area.
Vincenzo Grifo doubled the visitors' advantage from the penalty spot 10 minutes later after Karim Guede had been fouled by Ousman Manneh inside the area.
The hosts pulled a goal back through Santiago Garcia midway through the second half, but their joy was short-lived as Amir Abrashi restored Freiburg's two-goal lead with 15 minutes remaining.
The result marked a second straight loss for Bremen, following last weekend's 3-1 reverse at Leipzig.
