And this player is called Kante.

 

Manchester City 1 - 1 Southampton FC: Man City began the season with 10 consecutive wins, but they endured a miserable run in all competitions lately. And this game is no exception. In the 27th minute, England centre-back John Stones's mistake allowed Nathan Redmond to open the scoring for Saints. And in the 55th minute, Iheanacho pulled one goal back. However, Man City struggled to cause any problems. And the game ended in a 1-1 draw.

 

Arsenal 0 - 0 Middlesbough FC: It's a birthday to forget for Wenger as his side were held to a goalless home draw by new boys Middlesbough FC. What's worse, this dull draw marked the end of their victorious run of 7 games in all competitions.

Valencia 2 - 3 FC Barcelona: The first half only saw Linoel Messi found the back of the net. After the break, Valencia roared back as Haddadi and Moreno edged them in front. But soon Luis Suarez put his side on level terms. The game seemed to be ending in a draw until Messi scored the winner from a penalty kick.

 

Sevilla 1 - 0 Atletico Madrid: Only one goal from Steven N'zonzi in the 73rd minute gave them a narrow win over Atletico Madrid, which suffered their first defeat of the season.

 

Real Madrid 2 - 1 Athletic Bilbao: In the 7th minute, Benzema opened the scoring after Isco's delicate assist, but Merino pulled one goal back just after 20 minutes. However, the hosts then sealed a victory through Morata's goal in the 83rd minute. Owing to this victory and Atletico Madrid's defeat, Real Madrid moved to the top of La Liga.
