Angers SCO 0 - 0 Toulouse: Toulouse held to goalless draw by Angers

High-flying Toulouse were held to a goalless draw at Angers in their Ligue 1 clash at Stade Jean-Bouin.
The match failed to live up to the excitement of last season's corresponding fixture, when Toulouse twice fought back from deficits to secure a 3-2 win which maintained their top-flight status.
The visitors struggled to hit the same form that saw them win 3-1 against Monaco last time out and it was Angers who looked the more likely to break the deadlock, with Famara Diedhiou spurning the best chance from five yards in the second half.
The result leaves fourth-placed Toulouse five points adrift of leaders Nice, who travel to Metz on Sunday, while Angers sit in eighth place.
