Bayer Leverkusen 0 - 3 Hoffenheim: Hoffenheim punish 10-man Leverkusen to move third

An early red card for Kevin Volland was seized upon by Hoffenheim as they picked up a convincing 3-0 win at Bayer Leverkusen.
Germany forward Volland earned his marching orders after just five minutes for a foul as the last man on Kerem Demirbay, who hit the post with the resulting free-kick.
Demirbay put the visitors in front shortly after before Sandro Wagner and Steven Zuber gave Julian Nagelsmann's men an unassailable lead after an hour.
Hoffenheim came closer to adding a fourth than Leverkusen did to finding a consolation as the guests stole a march on their opponents with a win which takes them up to third, at least for a night, and leaves Leverkusen in mid-table.
