Espanyol 3 - 3 Eibar: Ten-man Espanyol recover from three goals down to claim 3-3 draw against Eibar

Ten-man Espanyol fought back from a three-goal deficit to claim a 3-3 draw at home to Eibar at the RCDE Stadium.

Goals from Sergi Enrich, Kike and a own goal from Diego Reyes saw Eibar race into a 3-0 first-half lead. But second-half goals from Hernan Perez and Pablo Piatti trimmed Eibar's lead to set up a tense finish.

Espanyol striker Felipe Caicedo's red card late on looked to have ended their hopes of snatching a point but Leo Baptistao popped up to equalise in added time to secure an unlikely point.

Quique Flores' Espanyol went into the match with one win in eight matches and they went behind after 23 minutes as Kike's neat flick set up Enrich to tap in from close range.

Eibar doubled their advantage four minutes later as Takashi Inui's cross took a touch off Reyes and beat Diego Lopez in the Espanyol goal. The visitors added a third on the stroke of half-time when Fran Rico's lofted ball found Enrich inside the box before the 26-year-old played in Kike to score.

Espanyol pulled one back just after the hour as Perez finished off a slick team move to make it 3-1. And Espanyol grabbed their second when Eibar defender Ivan Ramis failed to clear a cross from the right wing before Piatti poked home.

Second-half substitute Caicedo then saw red for his second yellow card in the space of five minutes but Baptistao equalised right at the death with a low strike to earn a point for the hosts.
