Osasuna 2 - 2 Las Palmas: Las Palmas snatch draw at Osasuna

Osasuna were denied a first LaLiga victory of the season as Las Palmas fought back to earn a 2-2 draw at El Sadar.

Enrique Martin's side have struggled on their return to the top flight but looked set to earn a first win at the seventh attempt when Kevin-Prince Boateng needlessly handled the ball in his own area and Roberto Torres tucked away the penalty after only seven minutes.

Sergio Leon added a spectacular second after hesitant defending from Aythami Artiles as the first half came to a close.

The Canary Islanders are made of stern stuff though. They twice came back to draw 2-2 at home to Real Madrid last weekend and staged another recovery as Vicente Gomez applied a great finish to Marko Livaja's assist in the 57th minute and David Garcia struck at the death.

A corner was swung in from the left and Osasuna defender Oier deflected the ball against his own post under pressure from Boateng and Garcia bundled in the rebound.

Las Palmas were up against it from the moment Boateng had his aberration in the box, but did their best to keep in touch as a Roque Mesa shot was deflected over Nauzet Perez's goal.

Nauzet kept out a Boateng effort with his feet before the hosts doubled their advantage two minutes into first-half injury time.

Boateng was desperately unlucky to see a sweet right-foot volley strike Nauzet's right-hand post in the 88th minute after Osasuna failed to clear their lines, and the visitors got the equaliser they arguably deserved as the game entered time added on.
