Brechin stayed top of Ladbrokes Scottish League One thanks to a 1-0 win at Stranraer.

Andrew Jackson turned and fired into the bottom corner in the 75th minute to give the visitors all three points.

Second-placed Livingstone kept the pressure on Brechin with a 2-1 win at bottom side Peterhead thanks to two goal from Daniel Mullen.

Fiacre Kelleher headed Peterhead into an early lead but Mullen equalised midway through the half, turning his marker and bending the ball into the bottom corner.

In the 58th minute Mullen followed up from a rebound with his seventh league goal of the season, making him the division's leading scorer.

Alloa slipped to third by losing 2-1 at home to Aridrie.

In the 52nd minute Ryan Conroy curled in a second for the visitors and, although Greig Spence pulled a goal back two minutes later, Alloa were left frustrated.

Steven Boyd scored a 30th-minute opener and Ryan Wallace doubled the advantage in second-half stoppage time.
