St. Mirren vs Falkirk - Gary MacKenzie and Callum Gallagher doubts for St Mirren

Managerless St Mirren continue with Allan McManus in charge for the Ladbrokes Championship clash with Falkirk and the club's head of youth has injury doubts over Gary MacKenzie and Callum Gallagher.

McManus said: "Losing 4-3 late on to Dunfermline last Saturday was pretty devastating for the players as they had put a huge amount into the game.

"They played some really good stuff however every mistake we made was severely punished and we lost the game.

"Falkirk are putting together a good run of results but if we can play like we did at East End Park and also work just as hard then this game could be a turning point in our season."

Falkirk are again without defenders Aaron Muirhead and Peter Grant, who have knee injuries with manager Peter Houston looking for points and a good performance in this game.

The Bairns' 2-0 win over Ayr last weekend left Houston disappointed and he said: "It was three points but the performance was not what I was expecting. The players know that it was not a good display as we gave the ball away cheaply and made bad decisions when it came to making passes.

"We may not get away with playing like that again so we have to get back to the high standards that we are capable of."
