Simpson: Rule change a factor

Leicester's Danny Simpson feels the rule change for defending while in the box this season has negatively affected the Premier League champions.
The 29-year-old Newcastle and Queens Park Rangers defender has seen the Foxes concede 11 goals in just six games this term, while three of the four goals shipped in the 4-1 defeat to Manchester United at the weekend came from corners.
Last season, Leicester conceded 36 goals from their 38 matches and Simpson says his side is still trying to adjust to the new law.
He cautiously said: "Err, I have to be careful what I say.
"It is in your mind, yes, we have seen a few decisions this season. It is in your mind. It is something we have to learn to adapt to as players.
"They have changed the rules. The way it was last season, I thought we were very good at defending set-pieces and we made it tough for the opponents.
"You have been doing that for all your career and suddenly you have got to change it, but it’s the same for everyone, it’s something we have got to work on and look at."
Up next for the Foxes is a Champions League clash with Porto at the King Power Stadium on Tuesday.
