Blackpool vs Portsmouth - Dean Lyness set to be handed Blackpool chance against Portsmouth

Blackpool boss Gary Bowyer will be without his first-choice goalkeeper for the visit of Portsmouth on Tuesday evening.

Sam Slocombe had to be substituted at half-time during Saturday's 1-1 draw with Crewe after picking up a groin injury.

Dean Lyness, who came on to replace Slocombe, is set to start for the first time this season.

Brad Potts is a doubt for the match while Jack Redshaw and Danny Pugh also remain on the sidelines.

Portsmouth have no fresh injury worries after getting back to winning ways against Barnet.

Striker Conor Chaplin is expected to again be preferred to Michael Smith in the starting line-up after scoring the equaliser in a 5-1 rout at Fratton Park on Saturday.

Noel Hunt continues to recover from a groin problem and is expected to miss out, while fellow frontman Curtis Main is close to a return after needing 20 stitches in a facial wound.

Drew Talbot is a long-term absentee with a hamstring injury, so Gareth Evans will continue to deputise at right-back.
