The publication of 'Jose Mourinho: Up Close and Personal' by journalist Rob Beasley has caused quite a stir in the footballing world today.

The book quotes Manchester United manager Jose Mourinho on various different things about his footballing life and career.

However, one of the most surprising (or not so surprising) quotes from the book reads: "I will find him one day outside a football pitch and I will break his face."

The statement is about Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger and appears to have given an understanding to the severity of Mourinho's hatred for the Frenchman.

We have already seen Mourinho call Arsene Wenger a 'specialist in failure' in a past press conference a few years ago.

However, this quote has sparked new life into the feud between the two bosses.

Mourinho denies issue with Wenger

Although, having said that, Jose Mourinho has now come out and stated that all is fine between him and Arsene Wenger.

The Manchester United boss has stated that he was happy for Rob Beasley to make his money from the book and that he doesn't feel let down by the journalist at all.

"You can see how close he (Beasley) was (to me). I am happy. He made his money, that's fine. That's fine for me." Said Mourinho.

"I met Arsene Wenger a couple of weeks ago and, like civilised people, we shook hands. We sat on the same table, we had a dinner together with other people."

"We exchanged ideas, we were speaking because we are civilised people. Again, I don't think the book will be in the gallery of the Shakespeares and so on.

"I prefer just to not comment. That's my last word about it and again, I repeat, he is making his money. That's fine for me."
