Paul Pogba’s new hairstyle is extravagant – even by his standards

MANCHESTER United’s world-record signing Paul Pogba has an eye for the extravagant in every aspect of his life – but this new 'do is something else.

Usually fans are treated to a flamboyant demonstration of his skills on the pitch but in recent weeks the powerful midfielder has also shown his flair in the barber’s chair.

After arriving at United following the dramatic conclusion to this summer’s customary will-he, won’t-he transfer saga, the 23-year-old immediately shaved a pair of red racing stripes into his bleach-blonde hairdo.

While his fetching new hairstyle probably wasn’t the driving force, Pogba went on to claim many fans’ Man of the Match award in his first league start against Southampton during a routine 2-0 victory.

But less than two weeks after making the change, the former Juventus man is at it again.

This time Pogba has modelled his new ‘fro after a deadly reptile – the kingsnake.

The fascinating creature is known to be immune to the venom of other snakes and it even eats rattlesnakes despite their formidable reputation.

Some have suggested the haircut is a response to Juventus trolls still unhappy with their star man’s move from Turin.

The clip has been viewed by almost a million people since he uploaded it to his Instagram account, which boasts more than eight million followers.

But it seems not everybody is a fan.

“He tries so hard to be American,” one viewer said.

Another comment read: “I don’t like it to be honest.”

Pogba is currently on international duty with the French national team in preparation for their forthcoming friendly with Italy.
