Tottenham striker Harry Kane
Harry Kane has spoken of his honour at receiving an England call-up as part of Sam Allardyce's first squad.
The Three Lions will be coming together on Tuesday as Allardyce prepares to take charge of the England team for the first time.
England will take on Martin Skrtel's Slovakia and European minnows Malta in their 2018 World Cup qualifiers over the weekend.
Kane has made a slow start to the 2016/17 Premier League season after failing to score in Tottenham's opening three games.
However, Allardyce has included the out-of-form Tottenham striker in his squad ahead of this weekend's qualifier.
And Kane was delighted to be part of the new England manager's first squad as he snapped the above selfie en route to St George's Park.
Kane wrote the following caption on his Instagram page:
"On my way to St George's Park to meet up with @england ! Always an honour to be called up! ⚽️ #selfie #england"
Kane netted 25 times in 37 Premier League appearances for the north London outfit last season.
The England centre-forward failed to find the net during England's disappointing Euro 2016 campaign in France.
The Three Lions lost 2-1 to Iceland in the last 16 of the European championship.
