The Gunners are in the market for a new centre-back having lost Per Mertesacker and Gabriel to injury.
And while they have been heavily linked with a move for Valencia's Shkodran Mustafi, Arsene Wenger is believed to have kept his options open.
The veteran Frenchman is said to have his eye on Bayer Leverkusen's Omer Toprak, Fenerbahce's Simon Kjaer and West Brom's Jonny Evans.
Manchester City youngster Jason Denayer is on his radar too though, according to The Sun.
The Belgium international has apparently grown frustrated at the lack of opportunities handed to him since he joined the Etihad outfit in 2013.
And he could move on this summer, with alleged interest from Premier League rivals Sunderland and Turkish giants Galatasaray too.

The trio's chances of landing Denayer have improved with the revelation that his City deal includes a release clause.
While Belgian newspaper DH do not specify the fee involved, Arsenal's financial might and Wenger's need to strengthen his squad mean it would be unlikely to put them off outbidding other parties.
However, City are apparently keen to keep the 21-year-old in Manchester and they could offer him fresh terms to block a switch.
