Manchester United manager Jose Mourinho is planning to raid former club Real Madrid in order to sign Gareth Bale in 2017, according to the Sunday Star.
The Wales international moved to the Santiago Bernabeu shortly after Mourinho's exit in 2013, and while Mourinho will not make an approach in the current transfer window he has apparently singled the forward out as a top future target.
Madrid, however, are desperate to keep their man, and have already opened talks over a new five-year contract to tie Bale down in the Spanish capital.
