Lopez secures Espanyol return

Primera Division outfit Espanyol have added another player to their new-look squad after signing midfielder David Lopez from Serie A side Napoli.
The 26-year-old returns to the club where he started his senior career, having spent the past two seasons on the books of Napoli.
He made 57 first-team appearances and scored two goals during his two-year association with the Partenopei.
"David López Silva is the eighth signing of Espanyol's first team for the season 2016-17," read a statement on Espanyol's official website.
"The Catalan midfielder returns home after leaving two years ago for Napoli.
"RCD Espanyol have reached an agreement for the transfer of the player in the last hours. The Catalan player, who has already passed the medical examination, has signed for the next four seasons up to June 2020 with the possibility of a fifth season contract extension.
"The presentation of the player will be this Monday at 1pm in the Auditorium of the RCDE Stadium, with access restricted to media accredited by the club media department."
