Falkirk vs Dumbarton - Peter Grant is Falkirk's only absentee for Dumbarton's visit

Peter Grant is manager Peter Houston's only absentee as Falkirk look for their first league win of the season against Dumbarton.

Grant will miss out as he remains sidelined with a knee injury.

Houston said: "Dumbarton are always a tough side to play against and their last two results have been impressive. To defeat Dundee United and then draw at Morton is good going and a warning to us about what can happen.

"We need to get that first win under our belt and things will kick on from there but it will not be easy as Dumbarton will be confident."

The Sons have Garry Fleming back in their ranks after a hamstring problem and Darren Barr is in line for his first start of the season.

Frazer Wright, however, continues to be out with an ankle injury.

Manager Stephen Aitken said: "Our last two performances have been excellent and we were unlucky not to take the six points from them. We will look to keep that high standard going but know that it will be difficult to win at Falkirk.

"They have not hit the heights they hit last season when they finished runners-up but they will get back to that. However we will look to keep them waiting for another week."
