Angers SCO 0 - 1 Nice: Alassane Plea early goal enough for Nice to see off Angers

Alassane Plea scored the only goal as Nice made it back-to-back Ligue 1 victories with a 1-0 success at Angers.
The winger tapped into an empty net in the fourth minute at Stade Jean-Bouin after good work from Ivory Coast international Jean Seri and midfielder Valentin Eysseric.
Cheikh N'Doye threatened an equaliser for the hosts before Lucien Favre's side came close to doubling their lead when Plea fired into the side netting after Wylan Cyprien's attempt rebounded off a post.
The visitors, who beat Rennes on the opening weekend, struck the woodwork again four minutes from time through Eysseric's hooked effort from the left but they were not made to rue the missed chances as they hung on for victory.
