Dundee United vs Ayr Utd. - Duo miss out for United

Dundee United will be without Paul Dixon and Lewis Toshney against Ayr at Tannadice.
Both players are nursing knee injuries as United look to bounce back from last Saturday's defeat at Dumbarton.
Home manager Ray McKinnon said: "We did not see that result coming especially after playing so well when we beat Partick Thistle in the midweek beforehand. However, if we are to take a positive from the game it is that it is a reminder to everyone over how tough this league is.
"We will look to get going against Ayr and the game has a nice pinch of extra spice after their recent recruitment of Gary Harkins from Dundee."
Ayr are again without Craig Moore, who has a head injury, with Somerset Park manager Ian McCall looking forward to returning to one of his former clubs.
He said: "It will be good to be at Tannadice again but more importantly a game like this one shows the players the rewards of working their socks off to get promoted last season.
"Dundee United are a big club in this league and their defeat to Dumbarton has made this game more difficult for us. However, we will look to win it and if we defend better than we have in our two league games so far then we have a chance."
