Fans were supposed to be treated with a pre-season Manchester derby before the two sides meet again on Sep 10th. However, this fascinating game was abandoned due to heavy rain in China.
The cancellation of course ruined the mood for the expectant crowd gathering at the Bird's Nest. I can only say they were unlucky with the weather, and so were the fans all over the world expecting the first Manchester derby outside England.
* Higuain infuriates Napoli fans
Higuain's transfer has become a very hot issue this summer. The 28-year-old is reported to have secret medical ahead of a move to Juventus, which infuriates Napoli fans. It is also a move that hurts Maradona as the soccer legend claimed that the Argentina striker went to a direct rival like Juventus. Anyway, the former Napoli man has confirmed switching to the Old Lady for a third most expensive fee in history.
* Higuain's replacement?
Napoli is looking for Mauro Icardi as the ideal candidate to replace Higuain following his departure. However, according to Football Italia, Inter President Erick Thohir assured "We're not going to sell Icardi. We've received offers – from Napoli too – but we're not going to sell him. We extended his contract a year ago." Will Napoli continue to hold talks over his release or turn to Arkadiusz Milik, or others? Let's wait and see.
* Pogba confirmed switching to United
Pogba's transfer rumors have attracted a lot of public attention last week, and he finally confirmed a move from Juventus to Manchester United for a record-breaking €120m fee.

Inter 1 - 3 Paris Saint-Germain：Paris Saint Germain opened the scoring against Inter Milan thanks to a delightful strike by Serge Aurier but Inter hit back through Stevan Jovetic before the break. PSG regained the lead in the 61st minute as Layvin Kurzawa's free-kick found the back of the net. And Aurier scored his second in the 87th minute to help his side wrap up victory.
Juventus 2 - 1 Tottenham Hotspur：Juventus started strongly, with 2 goals through Paulo Dybala and Mehdi Benatia after just 15 minutes. Erik Lamela slotted home as Tottenham hit back at the second half. And that's what the game ended.
Real Madrid 1-3 Paris Saint-Germain：It's really a woeful pre-season start for Zidane. Substitute Meunier scored twice on his first appearance, with Madrid only netting a consolation through Marcelo Vieria da Silva Junior in the 44th minute.
Bayern Munich 6-8 AC Milan：The two elite clubs played out a mouthwatering 3-3 draw in Chicago, and the game was forced into a decisive penalty shoot-out where the Red & Blacks cruised to a victory.
* Champions League Qualifying-Third Round
Champions League Qualifying entered the final stages. Except Trencin and Partizani Tirara, the only two sides suffering home defeats, other home sides all drew or won over their rivals in the first leg clash. Here are the scores.

A national survey is carried out on the fans' most hated club in the EPL, and Chelsea is the new champion, leaving the last year's most hated club Manchester United second. Three other clubs in the top five list are Liverpool, Manchester City and Arsenal.

After showing his dancing skills last week, Neymar has new action. Being the talented player in soccer, the Brazil icon completely missed the ball altogether when he played golf. We certainly don't need to begrudge him being excellent on the pitch as he does have weak points in others.
