Mario Balotelli shows desire that could still earn him Liverpool future

Liverpool forward Mario Balotelli is widely expected to move on this summer, but his attitude can't be faulted based on his latest social media posting.

The Italian international isn't on the first team's pre-season tour for the International Champions Cup, as he's currently training with the reserve team instead.

While that would be enough to tip many players over the edge and lead to some sulking, Balotelli appears to be enjoying it and is remaining optimistic and focused about his Liverpool future.

It remains to be seen whether or not it's enough to impress manager Jurgen Klopp, as many believe that the former AC Milan star simply doesn't fit into the German tactician's plans.

Nevertheless, Balotelli will be desperate to prove him wrong and play his part with the Premier League giants next season, as uncertainty continues to reign over his future in terms of another club picking him up and giving him another chance to impress.

His work ethic and approach seem to be spot on, but he'll have to marry that with showing his quality on the pitch...
