Jurgen Klopp

Under Jurgen Klopp's guidance, Liverpool have gradually refreshed from their gloomy form in Brendan Rodgers' reign, and found their rhythm in the last season. After taking charge in October last year, the Germany coach upthrusted the Reds to finish in the 8th position at the end of the season, and took them into the final of League Cup and Europa League. With such a mesmerizing coaching work, Klopp earned himself a juicy contract extension to continue his spell at Anfield Stadium until 2022. As his annual salary took a giant step forward from 4 million pounds to 7 million pounds, Klopp's mind finally settled down to some extents. But it's still far from enough for the former Dortmund coach to help the club to touch the Premier League silverware. In order to fulfill the champion dream, or to say the least, the top 4, the 49-year-old has brought in some new faces to reinforce the squad. So Let's see which newcomers would turn into a hot hit in the next season.

Loris Karius

Loris Karius

Goalkeeper Loris Karius started his career from Mainz and quickly turned into the main goal guardian for the 05 side. With Karius' great effort and brilliant performance in front of the goal, Mainz conceded only 42 goals and finished 6th position in the Bundesliga last season. Compared with Liverpool who conceded 50 goals last season, this Germany youngster takes a slightly advantage ahead of the forthcoming goalkeeper competition against his new teammate Simon Mignolet. Regarded as the 2nd best Bundesliga goalkeeper behind Bayern Munich's top goalkeeper Manuel Neuer, Loris Karius would also dent his mark on Premier League pitch.

Marko Grujic

Serbia midfielder Marko Grujic is Liverpool's first signing this summer. This 19-year-old lad joined from  Red Star Belgrade in January 6th but played on loan for his former club until the end of last season. Marko Grujic was the key player in Serbia U21. In the last year, he capped for Serbia U20 to show his glamour on the FIFA U-20 World Cup, leading his side to beat Brazil U20 in the final on extra time. Depending on his robust stature and agile footwork, Marko Grujic could organize the attack under the premise of controlling the rhythm. And Liverpool have counted this young talent as the successor of Anfield legend Steven Gerrard.

Sadio Mane

Sadio Mane

There is no need to spare more ink to depict how professional this striker is. Last season Sadio Mane scored 15 goals in all competitions, including 11 goals in his appearance for Southampton. During Saint's 4-2 victory against Manchester City on May, the Senegal striker presented a hat-trick to thrill all the audiences. And he even scored a brace to force his future club Liverpool to surrender a lead in a 3-2 victory on March. So it's no doubt that Klopp are eager to take this striker under his cloak. With lightning speed and exquisite dribbing skills, Sadio Mane could easily tear apart opponents' defensive line to provide assists for Christian Benteke, Danny Ings, Philippe Coutinho, or better still, send the ball through the net by his own. Predictably this former Southampton goalscorer would be an essential piece to change the Reds' shoddy attacking performance.
