Denmark international Andreas Christensen has dismissed reports linking him with a move to Barcelona, insisting he is happy at VfL Borussia Mönchengladbach.
The 20-year-old defender, who is on loan from English Premier League side Chelsea, is looking forward to a second consecutive season in the Bundesliga.
And, amidst rumours of an imminent bid from Barca, Chelsea made it know they were not interested in releasing Christensen on a permanent basis after rejecting a £14.5million offer from Die Fohlen on Tuesday.
The towering defender says he just wants to continue playing first-team football.
"The main thing is to play. That's the main thing that I want for my future," he told Goal.
"It is all about playing football and that's it. [Playing at Chelsea] is an ambition of mine, to play over there in the first team – but right now I am not thinking about the future.
"I am not thinking about Chelsea and what they are doing and what I am doing.
"I am focusing on what Borussia is doing. I am just really looking forward to playing games and hopefully qualifying for the group stages of the Champions League."
Christensen scored three goals in 31 games last season, helping Mönchengladbach to a fourth-place finish.
