Juan Mata has taken to social media to reveal that he is feeling upbeat about life at Manchester United under Jose Mourinho following the Red Devils' 2-0 win over Wigan on Saturday.
Mata started the game as a substitute but came off the bench to help Will Keane find the opener at DW Stadium.
Andreas Pereira then made it 2-0 as the Red Devils wrapped up their first victory under their new manager.
There was also positive news for the Red Devils as Luke Shaw made his first start for the club since September after his horrific broken leg back in September.
And playmaker Mata was clearly feeling in a good mood after the game as he posed for a picture with Shaw at United's Carrington training ground on Saturday evening.
Mata posted the picture above on his personal Instagram account and wrote: "Lots of positives from our first game, but seeing @lukeshaw23 back at it, was the best! Well done my friend."
United moved quickly to appoint Mourinho as their new manager after their disappointing fifth-placed finish in the Premier League last season under Louis van Gaal.
