RUMOURS: Dortmund agree deal with Gotze

Borussia Dortmund have agreed a deal with Mario Gotze and made a €23 million bid to re-sign the midfielder from Bayern Munich, according to Bild.

Gotze left Dortmund for Bayern for €37m in 2013 but struggled to command a regular place in German champions' starting XI last season.

Having scored 30 goals in his first two campaigns in Bavaria, he notched only six last term and now looks set to depart.

Bayern want €27m for Gotze but the two sides are expected to reach a compromise after his talks with Dortmund reached a successful conclusion.
