The Cherries have agreed a fee with the Reds and Ibe must now make a decision on his future.

Ibe, 20, struggled for first-team football last season after his form dipped when Jurgen Klopp took charge at Anfield.

The former Wycombe winger joined the Reds in 2012 and impressed on a loan spell at Derby in the 2011-12 season.

He looked set to fill the void left by Raheem Sterling's move to Manchester City last summer.

But Ibe has yet to live up to his potential and now faces more competition after the arrival of Sadio Mane from Southampton for £30m.

Danny Ings is also likely to be used in a wide position by Klopp following his return to fitness after a knee injury.

Liverpool are ready to let the player leave despite his young age and risk he could develop into a much better player.

But they were only willing to accept a £15m fee – a figure which put off Watford and Southampton.

Bournemouth boss Eddie Howe is confident he can convince Ibe to reignite his career on the south coast and will hope to sit down with the England Under-21 star this week.
