Ireland hero Robbie Brady could be in line for a big move this summer. The Norwich City midfielder is a target for Premier League champions Leicester City. Instead of playing Championship football, he could be playing in the Champions League.
The Mirror report that Claudio Ranieri is a big fan of the versatile 24-year-old. He was one of Norwich’s better players in a campaign that ended in relegation. He moved to the Canaries last summer in a £7 million transfer from Hull City.
That’s the fee that Norwich would ask for from any potential suitors.
Brady impressed at the European Championships for Ireland before they were knocked out of the competition by France. He put the Boys in Green ahead from the penalty spot in the second minute. France later came back to win 2-1.
These heroics were following on from a brilliant winning header in the crucial group game versus Italy. Brady finished as the top Irish scorer with two goals. If he moved to Leicester he would be the only member of the Irish squad playing Champions League football.
