Jose Mourinho looks to be enjoying himself on holiday as Manchester United continue to work on their summer transfer plans.

The Portuguese coach is currently away in Europe with his family as he prepares for his first full season in charge at Old Trafford.

Mourinho has been appointed as the Red Devils' new manager on a three-year contract after the club opted to sack Louis van Gaal at the end of last season.

United are due to report back for pre-season training on 6 July and it appears that Mourinho is making sure that he arrives at Carrington in top physical shape.

The former Chelsea manager uploaded the picture above of himself playing some water polo with his kids onto his personal Instagram account on Thursday.

He shared the picture and wrote: "6th July I will be fit for sure…or tired!?!? Thanks kids."

United have already secured the signing of Eric Bailly from Villarreal and have also tied down veteran midfielder Michael Carrick to a new one-year contract.
